The purchase of foreign currency at Hamkorbank exchange points is carried out in unlimited quantities by resident and non-resident individuals.
In the case when currency exchange operations equlas to or exceed 500 times the size of the base calculated value, individuals are required to provide identity documents.
The foreign currency exchange in cash to resident individuals in the amount of up to $ 100 (including in the equivalent of other foreign currency) is carried out without the requirement of identity documents, within the amount of cash or funds debited from the applicant's personal bank card in national currency.
The foreign currency exchange to non-resident individuals is carried out after they provide a 09002 certificate of the exchange office or a check of the terminal (ATM), or other documents confirming the legal acquisition of funds on the territory of the republic.

Banknotes and payment documents in foreign currency are recognized as solvent if they:
•The main signs of solvency have been preserved: the name of the issuing bank, the number and series, the dignity in numbers and in words, the main drawing (portrait) of the front and back, as well as the elements of protection against forgery.
• Have small oil and other stains, inscriptions and stamp prints (except those indicating that the banknote is inauthentic, if they do not interfere with the identification of the authenticity of banknotes and do not significantly overlap (more than 50%) one of the main signs of solvency;
• Have minor tears sealed if they do not exceed one-fourth of the width of the banknote;
•Have glued torn corners or pieces (with an area of no more than 1-2 square centimeters), if the torn parts definitely belong to this banknote;
• Bear punctures with a hole diameter of no more than 1 mm.
The banknote is deemed unfit for circulation in the presence of the following defects:
• torn into pieces and glued together, if their parts undoubtedly belong to the same banknote;
• changed the original color or discolored;
• burnt or damaged;
• filled in completely or to a large extent (more than 50%) with paint, ink or oil;
• exposed to chemical reagents;
• having significant damage of an intentional nature (the main drawings have been changed, in particular, the nominal value and portraits of people, the protective thread has been removed, the presence of significant inscriptions);
• banknotes with obvious printing defects (absence or improper placement of a watermark or protective thread, non-printing or blurring of images);
• changed geometric dimensions by more than 3 mm in the direction of increase and decrease;
• significant contamination of the portrait, shape, image of the banknote, which makes it impossible to identify it;
• worn or lost their hardness banknotes.
