Adb workshop on gender policy of the bank

The gender mission of Asian Developing Bank (ADB) composed of the international advisor Nina Nayar and DildoraTadjibayeva visited JSCB “Hamkorbank” on October 13-14, 2015.  Two-day workshop training dedicated to the gender policy of the bank was conducted within the framework of the visit.

The basic tasks of the workshop were to enhance the competence in the area of the gender sensitivity, with a special emphasis on gender policy of the Bank, with the purpose of harmonizing the gender policy with much more extensive organizational policy, as well as developing the understanding of the goals and objectives of the ADB project for the development of SMEs, and also the outreach and the goals for penetration to  SMEs owned by women entrepreneurs.

According to the outcome  of the workshop the action plan was worked out  related to gender issues, which was focused on  monitoring of the activities, and also on deeper understanding of the documents on gender policy by the employees as well the strategy for controlling personnel’s restrictions and problems faced in serving SME female entrepreneurs.
