An official appeal to the news “The Bank still did not transfer funds for the purchase of a car” in one of the Telegram channels.
This case was observed with a client of the Bukhara regional office of banking services of JSCB “Hamkorbank”. On 11/14/2022, the client transferred funds to the People's Republic of China in order to purchase a FAW VAN TRUCK 2022 truck. Hamkorbank, in accordance with the established procedure, transferred funds to the beneficiary's bank through a foreign correspondent bank. But the compliance control service of the branch of the recipient's bank began an additional check on these funds (in order to identify links with the states that were included in the US station lists) and did not transfer them to the seller of the car. During this period, Hamkorbank, with the help of its correspondent bank, sent requests to clarify the status of the payment to the branch of the beneficiary's bank. In the last message from the beneficiary's bank, it was said that the funds would be returned to the correspondent bank in the coming days. After the branch of the recipient's bank returns the funds, they will be credited to the client's current account in the prescribed manner.
The client was provided with detailed information and an official letter stating that the delay in payment is a consequence of the geopolitical situation and the increase in the number of such payments.
