
On April 18th of this year, a significant training event, organized by "Hamkorbank" ATB and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) to support women entrepreneurs operating in Central Asia, took place in Tashkent. This prestigious event, held within the framework of the "Woman in business" project and the EBRD's GEFF "Green finance" initiative, aimed to further expand the opportunities for women in the business sector.
The seminar was attended by internationally recognized EBRD experts, representatives from reputable consulting companies such as the German Sparkassenstiftung for International Cooperation and IPC - Internationale Projekt Consult GmbH, as well as the qualified team of "Hamkorbank" ATB and, most importantly, proactive and successful women entrepreneurs.
The solemn opening ceremony of the event was conducted by Ms. Natalya Yuryevna Kuzmina, Deputy Director for Development of the Micro, Small and Medium Business Department of "Hamkorbank" ATB, who welcomed the attendees with her sincere opening remarks. In her speech, she specifically emphasized the bank's efforts to support women entrepreneurs. Additionally, the Deputy Chairperson of the "Tadbirkor ayol" ("Business Woman") Association of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the esteemed Nigora Rakhon Kamaldinovna Yakubova, provided detailed information on the high attention paid to the development of women's entrepreneurship in the country and the wide opportunities being created.
Ms. Nazira Dadakhonova, a leading analyst of the EBRD Business Advisory Programme in Uzbekistan, deeply recognizing the importance of such events for women, expressed her gratitude to "Hamkorbank" ATB and closely introduced the participants to the activities of the EBRD Business Advisory Programme.
During the seminar, Ms. Dono Abdurazzakova, a knowledgeable EBRD consultant on the GEFF "Green finance" direction, provided comprehensive information on the content, advantages of the "Green finance" program, and the important role of women entrepreneurs within it. Furthermore, the experienced Deputy Chairman of the Board of "Hamkorbank" ATB for Cooperation and Ecosystem Implementation, Mr. Azat Rustemovich Galeev, presented very interesting and practically significant information on the topic of "Internet Acquiring for Online Sales," which is an integral part of modern business.
Throughout the event, participants had the opportunity to receive detailed answers to all their questions of interest from qualified experts. The final part of the seminar was held in a lively atmosphere. All guests were solemnly presented with memorable gifts and participation certificates as a token of appreciation for their active involvement. This training served as a solid foundation for women entrepreneurs to gain new knowledge, exchange experiences, and achieve future successes.
The second part of the seminar was even more informative and rich in interesting details. Bakhtiyor Isakhodzhiev, a qualified specialist from the Islamic Banking Products Sales Group of "Hamkorbank" ATB, provided participants with detailed information about one of the modern financial solutions - the advantages and application procedures of "Islamic Leasing".
Following this, the event continued with a master class on "Digital Marketing and Online Sales" featuring an experienced trainer, Ra'no Sidikova, invited on the recommendation of the EBRD. The trainer shared valuable knowledge and skills on the effective use of modern digital tools, innovative methods for increasing sales on online platforms, and successful marketing strategies.
Another important part of the seminar was the presentation by Stanislav Brazinsky, a foreign specialist from the Sales Department of "Hamkorbank" ATB, on the topic "The Main Stages of the Sales Funnel". He explained each stage of the sales process with specific examples and provided practical recommendations for developing successful sales strategies.
